i follow the instuctions to start scandisk but when i click props. the box
comes up where iclick tools but there is no tools on the box so i cant go any
further, i am really new to all this please be kind!!!!

Hi ... Just to be sure you are in the right place , First thing to do is
double click the " My Computer " Then locate where your operating system is
, usually its under the C Drive , If thats the case ? Then right click the C
drive and select properties , at this point another window will pop up , Now
look for at the top of this window " Tools" Click on that , Then click "
Check Now "

That is not Scandisk, which is not present in Windows XP. However, I
think it is what Badger girl is seeking.
