Scan slide software

Jim Abbott

Hi,

I had read about some software on this NG that could support a multiple
slide scanner, eg, HP 4570c.

The software that comes with this scanner will scan slides but leaves them
in a single image of three slides.

I would like to set up a mask over each actual slide and save them as
individual jpg files.

I almost sure I read about this software on this NG an was wondering if any
one uses it or can direct me to where to locate such software.

Thanks.

I have a 4470C (not a 4570C). My experience is restricted to scanning 35mm
slides. I can define the area to be scanned in each of the slides in the
holder. This could be applied to scanning 35mm negatives strips.

You could scan into Irfanview and then crop each individual scene and
save it as a JPEG file.
