Scan not run

I run a scan every morning at 2am and it works Ok and I can
see the time and date of the last scan. Then every so
often the icon goes blue and the last scan says in red "You
haven't run a scan yet". Any ideas why this would happen.?

This relates to either Remote Assistance or Remote Desktop running (when
icon turns blue).
