Cause it's Chkdsk inXP.Right-click on the Drive Icon in My Computer, choose
properties and go to the tools tab.

You didn't lose it, because you never had it. There is no
scandisk in XP. The XP equivalent is called chkdsk.

Hi Donald,

There is no scandisk in WinXP, so you've lost nothing. To run a disk check,
right-click the drive in Windows Explorer and choose properties. Go to the
tools tab and click on error checking (this runs chkdsk, the NT disk
checking utility).
