Scaling the X-axis

Hi. I've been looking for a way to make the numbers on
the X-axis in line charts come at regular intervals
rather than as it appears in the source data. This is
easy with the Y-axis, just right click and look under
scale, but for some reason it isn't available this way
through the X-axis. This is absolutely essential for
most of the work I'm doing now, such as pH titration
curves, with source data that is never at regular
intervals throughout but needs to appear that way
graphically. Any help would be appriciated. Thanks.

Have you tried using an xy scatter instead of a line chart? You ca
still present your data as a line, but have more options calibratin
the x-axis numbers
