Hi, I need some information on Windows XP sbsi
interactive tools, I somehow deleted it from my computer?
and I have looked just about every where on Microsoft`s
site but have found the program,I did find an update
patch for it but no mention of the program.I purchased my
computer from HP and Windows XP was part of the software
that came with the computer. I sent a e-mail to HP
support and they said that sbsi interactive tools is part
of the Window XP and I do not have the window XP disk, HP
does not give a disk when you buy the computer. I hope
that someone could help me find out where I might get a
copy of the program. Thanking you in advance

Ralph, sorry but HP lied to you. SBSI is not a part of a standard Windows
XP installation. It's not even on the retail CD or the generic OEM CD.

This is something HP and some other OEMs add to the machines they set up
for their customers. If there is a way to reinstall it without restoring
the entire system to factory defaults, it will be an option in the recovery
programs provided by HP or possibly on a separate CD that HP provided. If
this is not covered in your system documentation or explained well enough,
HP tech support should be able to provide directions on how to do this. If
you get a tech that does not know, ask to speak to a different one.
