Hi!

I wonder if anyone knows if it is possible to use Sb live with Windows 2000
and use all the functions? Or do I have to use Windows 98? I don't like ME.

Thanks
Yvonne

The Creative Labs SB Live probably has drivers already included on XP and
probably also included in 2k. On top of that you can most likely download
the 'driver helper software' package from their site still which will give
you additional features such as EQ, diagnostic utilities, and the Creative
Labs media player software. If you check their site you should be able to
find the support page and get the drivers and any additional downloads you
need. As for XP, just in case, if they don't have XP drivers the 2k drivers
will often work just fine. So in short, I've never tried it but I've used
Creative SB products on all sorts of OSes without any problems yet.

Hi again!

I have already tried to use the drivers there, and it works, accept for
Creative Launcher (I don't think i will need that) and another function that
i want. I use earphones in the front and when i was using win98 the sound in
the speakers disapeared as soon as i did plug in my earphones. That doesn't
happen in win2000.

Have you changed any of the hardware around? The audio being cut off when
there's a plug inserted into a earphone jack is a hardware related issue I'm
pretty sure. If you have are you talking about plugging into a CD player
that has the earphone jack in it on the front of your computer? If that's
the case is the audio wire connected to the motherboard or sound card?
