SBC Self Support Tool

At system start-up, I get the following error msg:

The procedure entry point GetProcessImageFileName could not be located in
the dynamic Link Library PSAPI.DLL

This has to do with the executable file MotiveSB.exe that works with the SBC
Self Support Tool. I tried to uninstall the software, but it did not
uninstall and now there is no icon in my "Add or Remove Programs" area of my
control panel. I tried to go directly to the uninstall file that is within
the folder, but it then referred me back to the "Add or Remove Programs".
Any idea as to how I can get this software off my system?

You might try starting up in Safe Mode and just deleting the directory it is
in. This a rather drastic, but it has worked for me with several programs
that refused to be uninstalled. Should you get complications from this, then
restore it from the trash basket and no harm done (other than your original
problem).

I was told by two different SBC Second Level technicians that the software
is of absolutly no use and shouldn't be run. I know that's too late for you,
but maybe somebody else will be saved from running it.

Thanks HiBaller. I'll try your suggestion. It may just work. Then I will
most likely not reinstall the SBC Self Support Tool, because I see little
value in having it running on my system.

Thanks again.
