Saving Word documents

When saving a word template using the 'save as' function the file name always
comes up as ldksjfglakjsdflkjdsl;kfj.doc as the default file name.

No matter who saves the document I need the default file name to be: Memo
to Client.doc.

How can I do this?

Thanks for your help.

Word suggests the file name based on the content of the Title field in the
File > Properties dialog, if there's anything there; otherwise it uses the
first line of the document text, or the current name like "Doc1" if the page
is blank.

It sounds like the template you've based the document on has the nonsense
stuff in the Title field. Change that to "Memo to Client".
