saving web pages

If I am on a web page and click on a link, when it opens I can't save that
page. When I click file save as, it saves the first page that I had open. I
can copy and paste to a word document, then save that, but the graphics are
not saved that way. Any ideas?

Give specific example. Is it all web pages or just some? Do they open in a
new window or the same one? Which window is active when you print?

You need to right-click the image and select Save Picture As.

Doing File Save As saves the actual web page, not the individual image.

I'm trying to save pay info. My employer lists it by date. When I click on
the link, it opens. It is the active window, not a pop up type. If I do "file
save as" then go "back" and choose the next pay date, it opens fine. I save
that one and go to look at them and the only thing saved is the current pay
stub, twice, not the ones of other dates I wanted.

Since I can't try your actual page I can only guess what the problem is.
Somehow the page might be created dynamically and the print routine prints
from the buffer since it does not know the page has changed. I would
experiment with the following. It may have no effect but it should not hurt
anything. Go to tools/general. Under temporary internet files click
settings. Experiment with the settings under "check for new versions of
stored pages". It probably defaults to "automatic". Why not try "every
visit".

You could always drag through all the information and "copy". Then "paste"
it into another document.
