Saving V-cards to Contacts

B

Bob Griendling

When someone sends me an v-card as an attachment, how do I save it in my
contacts folder?

I see. I had actually done that but because the name began with two letters
and a space , it didn't save it where I thought it would.

But the name doesn't appear in my address book. How come?

The address book shows only contacts with email addresses and fax numbers.
Open the contact and check whether it has either of those. The email
addresses need to be underlined to be considered valid.

As Brian explained in my "transferring settings" post, the problem was
partly the difference between Corporate Workgroup support (my previous
computer) and this one. I changed the setting to Corporate on this one but
now my address book is in order by first names and I can't get the options
on the address book to work. Says I need more memory. (See "order of names
in address book" post.

This is Outlook 2000? What is the exact text of the error message?

"Address book options could not be displayed. You need more memory or system
resources. Close some applications and try again."

I did. I even restarted the computer, but with only Outlook open I still
get that message.
