Please let us know what version of WMM and Windows you are using to try to
save to DVD. Windows XP Home and Pro can't burn a DVD but IIRC Media Center
can (although there have been many reported problems with that version's DVD
creator.)
And since XP won't write to a DVD data disk the Save to my computer needs to
be sent to the computer's hard drive and not to a DVD burner. A better
solution would be to save the final movie to the computer's hard drive and
use a DVD authoring program to burn the finished DVD.

I too am having the same problem as the person who sent the original question. I have windows XP Media Center Edition and believe my version of WMM is 2.1.4026.0. Since you stated that XP wouldn't allow a direct DVD to be made, can you recommedn a good DVD authoring program?
