I keep getting the message - Windows movie maker cannot save the movie to the
specified location. Check that all file sources are still available, that
there is enough frees space............etc.
Is there a way to burn directly to a dvd without saving to my computer? The
movie maker will save the project to file and I can close it out and reopen
it. So is it not already saved to my computer somewhere that i can copy it to
a dvd?

not unless you're using Vista with DVD Maker....

see my website's Problem Solving > Can't Save a Movie page.
