Saving to DV

I want to record I movie, made with Windows Media Macker back onto a DV Tape
via a Fire Wire cable. Upoon playback it flicks between the blue screen and
then flash's breifly to the video etc.. is there a way of doing this
succesfully?
I have tried this with two Sony Dv Recorders.. one is a DCRPC9 the other a
DCRTRV730, neither was succesful, I have been in contact with sony and they
sat that the camera is capable of recording via the fire wire / I.Link cable.

It's a very high resource task. What else are you running simultaneously?
Try to have as little running as possible... this includes antispyware and
antivirus.... temporarily disable them when you are recording back to the
digital camcorder and just remember to re-enable them afterwards. Walk away
from the PC... do not surf, play music, do your homework/research/etc.
Instead do the laundry, vacuuming, take a walk/shower/go swimming/clean the
cat litter tray. Leave the PC alone.

What are the specs for your PC? You'll need a fair amount of RAM for this
task and a good CPU.
