importing

I used a sony DV recorder (hard drive only no tape) to capture the movie. I
went to import into movie maker and I received the error "An interfacehas too
many methods to fire events."

I originally had saved the movie into the sony software which was called
sony picture saver.

What can I do to get this image imported?
