saving to cd

how do I copy to cd without having to first save to memory then write to
disk? I have a program that has a back-up function but I can't use it because
it can't write directly to the cd. HELP thanks, skid

Roxio.. Nero.. ETC.

Sorry but if the program in question is not capable of backing up directly
to a disk in your cd burner then you have no choice but to save the file to
hard disk first. You might check the website for the program to see if they
have released an update that adds this capability. I don't whether they
have such an update or not but it sure wouldn't hurt to check with them for
one.
 
There is a program called Backup Plus which has a version to allow direct
copying to CD. The name of the company is Avantrix.
