saving things

i save a lot of things in my d drive.
lately when i save it, it defaults to
my pictures and not the d drive.

is there a way to correct this problem??

Before clicking the save button, check the screen and see where the item will be saved. If it is the wrong location, browse to the correct location before saving.

i guess i wasn't clear enough.
i used to be able to save something
to my d drive the first time.
then after that anything i saved would
automatically save to the d drive without
me having to change the location.
now i have to change the location
every time i save something.
hope this is clearer.
