saving templates

I'm trying to teach some collegues how to use templates.
What's the easiest way to tell them how to save a
template so it is added to the new documents window?
Especially if they are starting with a template that is
on a CD or floppy? I know how to get to the right folder
etc. myself, but I was trying to find an easy fool proof
way that some of my computer shy collegues would be able
to handle.
Any suggestions? And any good tutorial articles about
templates and autotext that I can include in my in-
service?
Thanks!
Lisa

Generally speaking, if you attempt to save a file as a template, Word will
automatically direct you to the User Templates folder. But if you're wanting
to copy an existing template from a floppy or email attachment to the right
folder, you need to navigate to the path shown for User Templates on the
File Location tab of Tools | Options (or some subfolder thereof).
