saving template as an outlook template

i want to create an email template for auto-reply. When i try to save it, it
goes to microsoft word file. I want to save it as an ".oft" so i can pull it
up as a template in my outlook to make a rule for auto-reply.

You'll need to turn off Word as your mail editor -- use Tools | Options |
Mail Format -- before you begin the process of creating an .oft file
template.
