Saving "Search Results" from Search Companion

How do I save the Search Results from a search using WinXP Search Companion?
Also, how do I print the results? I tried File > Save Search (as a .fnd
file) but it didn't save the actual results (several hundred line items),
only the search topic.

I don't want to save the query, I want to save the RESULTS of the query so
that I can Email the list of files (several hundred line items) preferably as
a .txt or .doc file.

See if this will work for you.
I use this in the List view.
Free and clean; no installation

Use Agent Ransack.

I downloaded SysExporter (sysexp.exe 33KB) from website www.nirsoft.net. My
virus scan software (AOL Saftey & Security Center) says that there is a
trojan horse virus in sysexp.exe when I tried to copy it to folder
C:\Windows\System32.

Seconded. He has got a LOT of neat and useful utilities there, too! I
use IEHistoryView and TurnFlash (disable Flash) all the time (and a few
others)

As John-John states, some antivirus might falsely identify it.
You can submit to your antivirus for evaluation if desired.
However, I use many of the utilities and the sysexporter.
Have done so for years and have never encountered a problem.
I do check for the updates every few months.
I would not put it in a Windows folder. Use a personal folder.
I have a folder (Tools) and I put it there under Nirsoft
Presently have 15 of those useful little utilities.

Thanks for the assurance about sysexp.exe. I tried it and it does everything
that I need and works great. Funny, the AOL security suite did NOT find any
virus when I did a complete two hour virus scan of the C: drive, but did say
there was a virus when I tried to COPY sysexp.exe to my C:\Windows\System32
folder.
