Saving screen folder layout?

To do some specialised 'housekeeping', I've carefully sized and
arranged several My Computer folders on my desktop. Is there some
utility I can use to save this workspace layout so that I can recreate
it with a couple of clicks at any time please?

Many applications which allow multiple windows to be open (such
as my excellent test editor, TextPad), have a Save Workspace facility.
So I can do exactly what I described. I'm surprised it's not a
standard feature in Windows XP.

But turned out to be for restoring ICONS, not folders.

I use it for folders on my desktop and it remembers their position -
unless I am not understanding correctly what you want to do?
Do you mean remember the folder window sizes and positions when you open
them or remember the layout on the desktop?
