Saving/Printing Documents

Please help......

I have Word 2002 and this problem never happened to me in
older versions of Word. After saving a document and then
printing it, when I go to close out of the document the
box pops up asking me if I want to save the document. I
don't get this. I already saved it once. The only I did
after saving it was to print it, so no changes were made
to the document. Can I turn something "off" so this
doesn't happen every time I create and print a new
document?

I would appreciate any help I can get on this.

Thank you.

Chances are that your document has fields that updated when you printed
(even though what they displayed did not change). You can turn off the
updating of fields to some extent, but doing that is sure to cause you more
serious problems at some time in the future because a document won't contain
the most recent information.
