Saving office documents to flash drive

I'm trying to save office documents using the send to command to a flash
drive but I get the error message "Cannot create or replace file" the file
cannot be created"
I've sent files to this flash drive before with no problems. I also have
sent my pictures to the flash drive with no problems. Don't know what I'm
doing wrong.

In explorer copy & paste
Of course it maybe down to what format is used on the flash drive, fat
cannot copy 4gb+ files

You said you sent files "before with no problems". Can you copy
anything to the drive NOW?

Flash drives fail, as does any media we have today. That's why it's a
good idea to have a good backup on reliable media, AND more than one
copy. If you're going to use flash drives, keep at least two with the
same files so when one fails, you have time to replace it before it
happens to the other one.
