saving movie problems

Oke when i am trying to save a movie (any movie) i always get error messages
during the saving and when i click on oke wmm close himself.

Sometimes i dont get those messages and the saving complete. But when i want
to watch the movie then in windows media player(or an other player) i get
error messages that he cant play it or it plays only a black screen with no
sound.

Can any1 help me?

I got this problem since a month now and i cant figure out what is wrong.
Before that i never had this problem.

The problem is also on files that i succesfully saved a few months ago. So
that cant be it.

And i tryed all of the filters off one by one and tried to save it but
doesnt help either.

You said that i should update my graphics card drivers from the manufacturer
of the card.
But how do i do that.

I'm afraid it can be. If you've added anything to your pc such as another
app, a windows update etc - or removed - then this may have upset something
and a fle which is not really compatible with MM now doesn't work were it
did before.

Not of help if the file is incompatible, as above, but is of help if the
codec is a problem.

But how do i do that.
Briefly, Find out what graphics card you have, see device manager, then go
to the manufacturers and look for driver downloads and download the latest
driver and install it.

But start by listing the file types in your movie.
