Moviemaker Saving Movie

When I make a movie to play in Movie Player it saves a random frame as
the Icon to show both on the file system and in the "now playing"
section of the player.

How do I get to choose the icon?

The thumbnail will typically be the first frame.
If the movie begins from a fade in from black...
the thumb will be black.

Yes I would have thought it would be the first frame, but it isn't.

Each time I generate the movie it chooses any frame and doesn't look
right.

Are you using Windows Movie Maker? Which version?

Yes I am using Movie Maker, but it shows as Windows Live Movie Maker
without any version number.

OK...that is the most recent download for Vista.

Sorry...I haven't used that version but apparently
it chooses the thumb at random.
