saving jpg's from web pages

everytime i try and save a jpg it prompts me to save as
intitled bmp. this just started happening. i dont know if
i changed a setting any help would be appreciated.

Your Internet Explorer Temporary Files Cache is full and
needs to be emptied.

Go to Start > Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Disk Cleanup
and perform some housekeeping.
