Whenever I try to backup my money account on a cd I get the following message
"you do not have permission to save in this directory, See the adminstrator
to obtain permission." What do I do. I want to save in the E drive. This is
not a network, this is the only computer.

I believe you can't save directly to cd, if that is what you are trying
to do. Save the backup file in My Documents (or another backup folder
you've made) and burn it from there.

Or, get third party CD burning software like Nero, which includes InCD (runs in the
background), which treats a CD-RW like any other drive (save to, delete, copy, paste.
etc.). I just used the MS MONEY File menu/Back Up/Back Up to Hard Disk option/Browse
button/Save In: E:\ (my CDR/CD-RW drive, with a formatted CD-RW disk already inserted)
and it saved with no problem. I like the Nero InCD module running in the background, and
always have a formatted CD-RW in my drive. It takes the place of a floppy drive, but can
store about 700 MB of data.

If you are using the inbuilt burning, that is not implemented in a
manner that allows use as output medium from a program at all. You
would need one of the third party 'packet writing' programs - see
