Saving images stalls all of a sudden...

Win XP Pro 'stalls' and the open instance of IE will freeze up -- sometimes
temporarily others seemingly permanently -- when I try to use the context
menu to save an image displayed in a web page. Even when simply saving
images using other desktop applications. Very myterious. Has anybody else
observed this?

There may be something in the context menu that is causing a problem.
Use the free program ShellExView to disable everything that is non-MS.
Then see if the problem is solved.
