Saving form results to database

Cliff Lewis

I am trying to save the results of a form to an Access database. I
have reached the point where I get a confirmation page when I submit
the form, but the data still is not posted in the database.

My host is GoDaddy. I enabled Access support on my account. The status
page displays a message saying,

"WARNING: We have detected that you have installed FrontPage
Extensions. Enabling Access database support for your account may
still not work because FrontPage may overwrite the directory
permissions on your hosting account."

I don't know if that is why I am having problems. There is also an
option on the status page to Create a DSN. I have no idea what that
means or if I need to do it.

The form is at http://www.cewriters.com/MgmtGrp/default.asp.

Thanks,
Cliff Lewis

You need to work with GoDaddy to resolve this issue. Many users of GoDaddy have problem relating to
using FP with them.

I have tried to work with GoDaddy on FP issues before. They refuse to
get involved.

To be fair, in the past the issues have always turned out not to be
their fault.

They have a strange way of configuring the FP extensions on their servers and also what
features/functions they choose to allow.
