Have created form (http:sandrahand.com/gourmetclub/becomeamember). GoDaddy
is host of site (http://sandrahand.com/gourmetclub). Have email off of
domain - noted in settings on host; frontpage extensions installed (deleted
and reinstalled today at suggestion of GoDaddy). After publishing, submit
forms goes to page not found. Confirmation page
(http://sandrahand.com/gourmetclub/confirmation) will not come up. Continue
to receive error that the page with the form cannot be configured with email.

Have spent HOURS! Please help. Have also tried to send to file, with no
results.

Thanks so much!

Your confirmation page must be a relative URL, not an absolute URL
You have

Thanks for your assistance. It is appreciated. Still does not work,
however. Did replace the URL as .../Confirmation/index.htm within the Forms
Properties on the Confirmation tab. You know, I don't understand how
FrontPage can make the statement about the host not being able to send emails
even before the page is saved and published. The statement appears when I
click the OK within the Forms Properties box.

Check with GoDaddy again, as I don't think they support FP form to email function, instead you have
to use they form handler script.

Hello there - And for what it's worth, GoDaddy hosts my web and I have a
form that, with "Submit Form", presents a confirmation page.

http://www.markflynn.biz/Documents/contact-form.htm

I'm using FP 2003 and used the Form Wizard to create the basic form. And
then used the Form Properties tool to get the form to work.

Best regards, Mark Flynn

Have also created the form using the wizard and then form properties. Can
you please tell me what you completed within the form properties? Do you
have it setup to send you an email with the collected data? GoDaddy gave me
gdform.asp to note as the form name using send to other - the other being the
asp. When clicking on options, do not see where the confirmation page can be
noted.

Thanks!

GoDaddy apparently have 3 groups of servers: (and technicians that have
problems telling the groups apart)

1) Unix servers where FP extensions have full functionality, including
forms that send email through the extensions.

2) Windows servers where FP extensions have full functionality,
including forms that send email through the extensions.

3) Windows servers where FP extensions have email disabled. This group
uses other means for form processing, including the gdform.asp.

gdform.asp should include your confirmation page (you will have to edit
gdform.asp), or should include a line of code that redirects to your
confirmation page after processing the form data - again editing the
code is required.

Reply only to group - emails will be deleted unread.
