Saving Files to CDRW

Trying to see if it's possible to save files to a CDRW ie: having a word document on a CDRW opening it up in Word and then when I'm done editing it save it back to the CDRW. I tried this but Word say's it can't do it. Also how do I go about deleting certain files from the CDRW, I tried doing this but XP won't allow me as it say's that the file is a read only and can't be deleted. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

That is correct. Windows XP cannot do that.

Windows XP CD-RW writing is not as friendly as some external applications
(Nero, Roxio, etc) and is limited. For example, while you can drag-drop
files and then select to burn the CD or CD-RW.. Once this is done you cannot
ADD to the CD-RW without erasing the whole thing first.

If you want to read up on what you can and cannot do with CD/CD-RWs in XP
(natively) - I suggest here:

You will have to use a program like INCD from www.nero.com that is actually
a packet writting software
so you can use your CDRW disk as a floppy disk.
I use this all the time.

If you already have nero 6 you can download and install INCD for free from
the above site.
