Saving Email AND attachement as single item

I wish to save an Email with its attachement for import to
a Document Management System. If I use the SAVE AS option
I lose the attachment. I really want to avoid saving the
Email and the attachment as two separate items. Anybody
know of a way round this one?

Thanks in advance.

Drag and drop the item out of Outlook into an Explorer Window and it will be
saved in a msg-format.

Open the email you want to save. Go to FILE, SAVE AS and
then for file type, choose .msg and then choose your
location and save it.
Works great...
