Email attachments as eml

Hi,
When somebody forwards an email (forwarded as attachement) from Outlook to
me (also using outlook) it changes the attachment to "xxxxxxxx.eml". This
never used to happen - anybody know what has changed and how do if fix it?

Hard to say with this level of detail. Outlook doesn't use the eml-format
but Outlook Express does. Are you sure they are using Microsoft Office
Outlook?

Thanks for responding - yep definitely Outlook 2003 (Office 2003 Professional
pack).
Any attachements which are emails themselves (as opposed to just forwarding
- not forwarding as email attachment) have the problem of "??????.eml".
When you open text is just lots of ####////// and some readable text as well.
Started 4 days ago - I cannot think of anything I have installed / changed
at that time either.
