saving e-mail passwords

I have 3-4 e-mail accounts and I cannot get XP to save my
passwords for each account. Each time I want to send or
receive e-mail, I have to enter the password for the
appropriate account.
Is this a common problem, or is there something in
configuration, other than the e-mail account setup, to
save passwords?
