When I save a word document I end up with two the same. Is this an XP
problem or a virus. Norton doesn't show any virus on it's Virus Check.

Niether.

Norton doesn't show any virus on it's Virus Check.

Doesn't sound like a virus, so I'm not surprised.

Are both files in the same folder with the same name? If so, this is an
impossible thing to have, and likely indicates a problem with your display
drivers. If the files have different names, then it's something about the
way you are saving them. If they are in different folders, are you sure they
are not mirrors or being synchronized?
