Good Day All!

I am having a similar problem like Kaylene.
First, I am the adminstrator on this PC. The other
restricted user has lost his favorites from IE. He cannot
add either.
I found an article on where to change the registry to
bring back the favorites list. I went to
Start/Run/regedit and made the change but the modification
will not "stick". How do you save changes to the
registry? Help - he and I are both fustrated.
..

Changes made to the registry are automatically saved, but not necessarily
immediately applied. If he continues to see this problem after changes have
been made to the registry and the machine has been shut down/restarted, I
would think that it's possible something could be fighting with him: virus,
spyware, etc. Do a full system scan with a current AV program (that is, not
older than 2002), and I would also suggest a scan with any or all of the
following: Spybot Search and Destroy, Ad-Aware, and/or Spyware Blaster. Do
make sure you have the most current updates to any program with which you
wish to run a scan before doing so. HTH, keep us posted.

Tony - did all that and still the change in the registry
will not stick. I thought I could out smart the machine
(LOL) by copying his "favorites" folder to c:/Windows as
is stated in the registry. It worked but I cannot add any
new listings. Any other suggestions?

Tony - none of that worked. Now what?
