Saving as Access 97

Is there a way to save an Access 2003 database as an Access 97 database? Or
do we have to rewrite it in Access 97?

Thanks very much!

Haven't done it but I believe you have to first save it in Access 2000
format. Open it in Access 2000 and save as prior version.

Tools... Database Utilities... Convert lets you save as 97. Of course any
features which did not exist in 97 (conditional formatting, for example) will
be lost, and you may have some hassles with missing references and other code
- but no, you won't have to build from scratch.

note-- Access 97 doesn't allow you to use Access Data Projects; so I would
avoid them like the plague
