saving and then looking at pictures from internet

my message is the same as Kathy Womacks at the top of
previous page. When I save a picture to picture folder
it is almost always very hard to retrieve it---windows
cant open the file or other crap like Kathy said.
seems like there some simple insteructions for this---I
have learned to label them carefully but still it doesnt
work consistently.
does it have to be a bitmap?
