I am trying to change a word .doc to a .jpeg file. Right now I change to a
..tif in print toolbar then save as to desktop. I then open in picture
manager, then do a save as to .jpeg file. The problem is if there is color
images, I lose the color. Is there a better way to do this?

There has to be - but it would help to know what you are actually trying to
accomplish by saving a text document as a picture in the first place. What
is the intended objective?

I want to put a number of word documents on a web site and only know how to
do it if they were jpeg's.

You can make documents available as .doc or .pdf files, or you can convert
them to Web pages (.htm files). All would be more useful than a JPEG.
