saving a download

When Im suppose to save to " hard dive " - Where does
that mean ? What is my hard drive named ? WINNT ?

Your harddrive is that disk that is in your computer. It is the non-removable storage which holds your operating system and all other "files" you may use. The harddrive does have a name but that is for technical reasons beyond the scope of your question. Your operating system is installed in C:\WINNT You can have a name for the C drive set by opening Windows Explorer to your root drive (C in this case) | right-click | Properties | General | Label (in the Text box to the right). Local means the disk is local to your system (it's in the box). Not remote (the disk is not in your system).

So "save to 'harddrive'" means saving a file to your "non-removable storage" usually.
