Saved passwords

I have just installed XP Pro. On my old OS (Windows 98)
when I entered a site that required a password my system
would ask if I wanted my computer to remember the
password for next time. My XP system doesn't do that. I
understand there is a setting I can change to have the
password saved. What or Where is it?

Open Internet Explorer, go to Tools, select Internet Options, go to the
Content tab, click Autocomplete, place a check next to "Prompt me to save
passwords."
