I have a computer running win98 and outlook express 6. The owner of this
computer has a folder in OE called “moved folders†in this folder he has 20
other folders with various names. All total there over 900 emails saved in
these folders. I got him a newer computer running win2000 pro and OE 6. I am
trying to move all his saved email to his new computer. I have had no luck.

FYI

Both computers are on the same network and will communicate.

I created a folder in OE on the old computer and copied all the email from
all the other folders to it, thinking I could move one big folder easier that
several small ones. Once moved he could sort them out.

The old computer has a cd burner.

I only work Mondays and Fridays.

Any help will be appreciated!

Have you used import export feature of outlook express.
If that helps there is program called DBXtract from one of the MVP's which
extract messages from the .dbx files. See if it helps.

You could get more help, if you post in Outlook Express newsgroups.
