saved draft of word doc has blinking cursor

In word 2007. When I create a doc &save it to a cd or harddrive or Email it
the draft has a blinking cursor. For example I created a resume & Email it to
a employer
he received the resume with a blinking cursor which he could actually change
my resume. I want to know how I can turn off the cursor when I save a doc?

When you send a Word document as a Word file, it is of course editable. That
is the whole point of sending a Word file.

If you want it not to be editable, you need to send it as a PDF. You can do
this easily in Word 2007 by downloading the free Save As PDF add-in from
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...3C-6D89-4F15-991B-63B07BA5F2E5&displaylang=en.
