Save to my computer problem

I am trying to make an sound slide show on Movie Maker. I have put down the
sound track and have the slides/images arranged with the sound track. There
are about 230 slides that have been scanned. When I have this all completed
and go to "Finish Movie" and then "Save to my computer." I get this error
message: "Windows Movie Maker can not save the movie to the specified
location. Verify that the original source files used in your movie are
still available, that the saving location is still available, and that there
is enough disk space available, and then try again." The source images are
all on the hard drive and I set the location of the save to the same drive.
The show is about 660 MB and I think I saw that the maximum length is in the
GB's. There is plenty of space on the hard drive. What can I do to get
this saved? I have some images that are fairly close together and sometimes
the slides get a little behind. I assume that my computer is not working
fast enough to keep up but when it is finished it will work smoothly. Is
this true?
Thanks,
Jerry
