save is blacked out

I downloaded a template from the office site, i have customised it to my
needs but i cant seem to save it.

Clicking on file shows that save, and save as are both blacked out.

Using My Computer (the Windows Explorer), navigate to the folder where you
saved this file, right-click it, and choose Properties.

Make sure the Read Only attribute box is not checked.

If you downloaded it, you may also see an Unblock button with a security
message that says:
This file came from another
computer and might be blocked to
help protext this computer.
If you see that, click the Unblock button.
