Save file from Office 2007 Online Trial to my computer

Is there a way to save a file from the Online trial (runaware.com) to my
computer?

I don't believe so. It appears to be a self-contained virtual environment.
Even if you select and copy text within that environment, it appears to be
local with respect to the Citrex virtual machine, and not available for
pasting within your own system. When you save, on its own "local" devices
are available.

I only tested Word to get an idea of what you were talking about. The only
way I could see (and I've closed it now so I can't test this) would be if
you were somehow able to actually email the file as an attachment from
within the virtual environment. I didn't test its Outlook capabilities, so
I've no idea whether that's remotely possible. However, if you're already
connected to the testdrive version, it might be worth a shot.

Thanks for your reply.

I tested sending the file as attachment in email, but nothing happened.
And no error messages.

I wanted to see what Word 2007 does with "Save as html". Cindy Meister has
replied in another post that Word 2007 has not changed this from older
versions.
So I guess I don't need this anymore.

But the "Online" evaluation is not complete (IMHO) if I can't examine the
output.
Or save a file to my computer so I can open it tomorrow.

I didn't want to download Word 2007 trial due to it erasing users current
Word version.
