save document of crashed os

i have 2 os in my computer and 1 of them is crashed(xp home).i have document
under xp home and now i'm using xp pro.How can i save the document that is in
the "My document" of a user in xp home(i know that it is located in
C:\Documents and Settings but i cant open the folder of the user"access
denied") plz help me.thanks

Logon with Administrator status, go to the Documents and
settings\username and right click. Properties, and on the Security page
click Advanced, then the Ownership page and 'take Ownership' for the
user in Pro that you want to have access, including all sub-objects
(check box)
 
Remember to go to Tools > Folder Options (any window), View (tab) > scroll
down and uncheck "Use Simple File Sharing".
