Save Custom Text Animation?

I need to apply the same custom animation to the bulleted lists of many
different slides. Is there any way to create the animation once, save it, and
then apply it to the various lists with a single click?

Absolutely.

Just Google search for Animation Carbon. Or point your browser to
skp.mvps.org/ac/index.html . It is a quality product and for a
presentation-person, definitely worth the cost.
