after sp2 installation into xp pro my satellite internet
proxy wont function although all settings are
correct.Everything looks fine, but can only get online
via dial up.
 
I would suggest starting with your service provider to see if there are
known issues with XP SP2. The new Windows Firewall may also be interfering
with your service.
