sata setting up bios

I purchase a 10,000 rpm sata drive, when i installed it
on sata 1, my cd rom is gone,and sata 3 it does not show
up, need help setting bios properly

You'll be best served talking to your motherboard vendor for that
information. Also, browse your manual, most likley its a master/slave
misconfiguration.
